IRB World Championships 2010
A huge congratulations to our Premier IRB Crew Andy Cronin (driver), James Morwood (crewman), Emma Cronin (patient) Geoff Cronin (patient) who competed in Egypt in October at ‘The Worlds’ (International World lifesaving Championships 2010).

East End SLSC is immensely proud of our crew and their achievements who dominated the event by bringing home 3 gold medals, making them world champions in IRBs.
They raced so well that they won all 12 races, throughout two heats, semifinals and finals in each event for single rescue, mass rescue and tube rescue titles.
New Zealand has a proud heritage in IRB racing and the standard of racing in New Zealand held the crew in pretty good stead against the international crews. They were pushed during the races and because of the tough competition at our own national championships they were able to come through.
